Roy serves Business Process & Applications professionals. He focuses on the concepts, techniques, and tools that enable high-performance design and manufacturing. His primary research areas include product life-cycle management (PLM) and manufacturing execution systems (MES). As part of this coverage, he also participates in research on RFID and other X Internet technologies.
Prior to joining Forrester, Roy was a manager in Accenture's supply chain management practice, where he led operations strategy and improvement engagements for a variety of industrial and pharmaceutical manufacturers. Prior to that, Roy was at Intel, where he conducted research on applying lean manufacturing principles within a semiconductor production process.
Roy has an M.B.A. from the MIT Sloan School of Management and an S.M. in mechanical engineering from MIT. He also holds two bachelor's degrees in engineering sciences from Dartmouth College.
